I just added the 1790 census for the following towns in Rockingham
County, NH to my web site.

Portsmouth was online before.

These are for now in text files, but open very fast as they are small
that way. When I have more finished they will be merged together in my
database an a report run with them all in Alpha. order with the town on
each line. The finsihed files will look very much like what I have
online for Rutland County, Vermont.

For now the text files are linked to from a Rockingham County page with
a handy table showing how many people there were in each town, very much
like Rutland County, VT and Hampshire County, MA.

I could use a little help on this, if you would be interested in typing
up the list of names for Chester, Concord, Deerfield, Epping or Exeter I
can get you a copy of the files to type from. No numbers, I will do them
when the names are in the database. If interested please contact me off
of the list.

All spelling is as in the origional files, no corrections even if known
wrong, so there are 2 or 3 spellings of some names. This is not your
ancestors falt, the jobs of Marshall's for taking the census was given
as a political thing, and spelling (or lack of) did not count.
